Doyle Drive Replacement Project in San Francisco (2/9/10 5:45 a.m.)
The northbound US-101 connector ramp to southbound CA-1 is closed through 2013 as part of the Doyle Drive, replacement project. The official detour is marked with signage and directs drivers to Geary Blvd, Van Ness Avenue and Lombard Street. On Wednesday, February 17 at 8pm, the northbound Park Presidio/Hwy 1 (from 19th Avenue) off ramp to southbound Doyle Drive/Hwy 101 will be closed through 2011. Click here for more information.
92/880 Interchange Reconstruction Project (2/9/10 5:44 a.m.)
Caltrans continues to rebuild the interchange at the junction of CA-92 and I-880 in Hayward. Motorists can expect lane, ramp and full freeway closures overnights through the duration of this project that is scheduled into 2012. Click here for more info.
US-101 Auxiliary Lane Widening Project in San Mateo (2/9/10 5:43 a.m.)
The Highway 101 Auxiliary Lane Widening project in San Mateo continues. The northbound Rollins Road to eastbound Broadway right lane will be closed until March 15. Work remaining includes further construction on bicycle/pedestrian overcrossings, sound walls and retaining walls. Completion of the Auxiliary Lane Widening project is scheduled for the spring of 2011. Click here for more information.
I-80 Eastbound HOV Lane Extension Project in Contra Costa County (2/9/10 5:42 a.m.)
Caltrans continues construction on the I-80 eastbound High Occupancy Vehicle project from west of the CA-4 interchange in Hercules to east of the Cummings Skyway overcrossing. Motorists can expect lane shifts, temporary ramp closures and detours during the course of the project.
CA-237/Calaveras Blvd Closures in Milpitas (2/9/10 5:41 a.m.)
Due to Caltrans construction activity, Hwy 237/Calaveras Blvd is scheduled to be closed in both directions at I-680 in Milpitas, February 10 through February 16, from 10:00pm to 5:00am, weather permitting. Traffic will be detoured to Milpitas Blvd and Park Victoria Drive during these closures. Click here for more information.
Yerba Buena Island Ramp Construction (2/9/10 5:40 a.m.)
The Yerba Buena Island eastbound right-hand side off ramp (east of the Yerba Buena Island Tunnel) remains closed for construction until the Bay Bridge project is complete in 2013.
