Golden State Warriors (NBA) Host New Orleans at Oracle Arena in Oakland (3/17/10 6:30 a.m.)
Golden State Warriors (NBA) host New Orleans at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Wednesday, March 17th. Doors open at 6:15pm and the game begins at 7:30pm. Motorists are advised to expect delays before and after the game on I-880 and local streets adjacent to the Arena.
Doyle Drive Replacement Project in San Francisco (3/17/10 6:16 a.m.)
The northbound Park Presidio/CA-1 (from 19th Avenue) off-ramp to southbound Doyle Drive/US-101 is closed through 2011. The northbound US-101 connector ramp to southbound CA-1 is closed through 2013. These closures are part of the long term Doyle Drive Replacement Project. The official detours are marked with signage and direct drivers to Geary Blvd, Van Ness Avenue and Lombard Street. 92/880 Reconstruction Project (3/17/10 6:15 a.m.)
Caltrans continues to rebuild the interchange at the junction of CA-92 and I-880 in Hayward. Motorists can expect lane, ramp and full freeway closures overnights through the duration of this project that is scheduled into 2012. Click here
US-101 Auxiliary Lane Widening Project in San Mateo (3/17/10 6:14 a.m.)
The Highway 101 Auxiliary Lane Widening project in San Mateo continues. The northbound Rollins Road to eastbound Broadway right lane will be closed until March 15. Work remaining includes further construction on bicycle/pedestrian overcrossings, sound walls and retaining walls. Completion of the Auxiliary Lane Widening project is scheduled for the spring of 2011. Click here for more information.
UPDATE: I-80 Eastbound HOV Lane Extension Project in Contra Costa County (3/17/10 6:13 a.m.)
Caltrans continues construction on the I-80 eastbound High Occupancy Vehicle project from west of the CA-4 interchange in Hercules to east of the Cummings Skyway overcrossing. On April 5, 2010, Caltrans will close the eastbound and westbound Hwy 4 connector ramps to eastbound I-80, and the Hwy 4 on ramp to eastbound I-80. Also, the eastbound I-80 on ramp to Hwy 4 will remain closed for as least six months. Motorists can expect lane shifts, temporary ramp closures and detours during the course of the project. Traffic Shift in Place on Southbound US-101 in Rohnert Park (3/17/10 6:12 a.m.)
Caltrans has placed a traffic shift on southbound US-101 before the Wilfred Avenue/Golf Course Drive interchange. The far right lane is now a combination exit and through lane. The southbound HOV lane is closed past Todd Road. Motorists should be prepared to merge to the right earlier than usual, and to expect delays while drivers adjust to the changed roadway. Yerba Buena Island Ramp Construction (3/17/10 6:11 a.m.)
The Yerba Buena Island eastbound right-hand side off ramp (east of the Yerba Buena Island Tunnel) remains closed for construction until the Bay Bridge project is complete in 2013.
