511 Parking is a new online feature to help drivers in all nine counties locate parking quickly and easily. This tool features both real-time information (where available) as well as parking facilities and pricing throughout the Bay Area.

511 Parking provides real-time information for both facility and street parking in San Francisco utilizing data from the SFpark program. Information includes availability and current pricing for 14 garages, one lot, and 7,000 on-street spaces. The garages and lot are indicated on the map with color-coded icons. The on-street spaces are indicated on the map as color coded icons, multiple-block zones or on individual blocks.

Currently, 511 Parking provides real-time information for the city of San Francisco only, in the following neighborhoods: Fillmore/Japantown, Financial District, Fisherman’s Wharf, Hayes Valley/Civic Center, Marina, Mission, and SOMA.

511 Parking personalizes map views by remembering the most recent zoom, position, and list of results you select. If you have cookies enabled, the map will show your most recent view the next time you visit the page.

The web feature includes trip-planner style search functionality and an interactive map with clickable icons for garages, lots, and on-street zones, and the ability to drill-down to the block-face level for San Francisco on-street parking.

The phone feature will allow users to select a San Francisco neighborhood or specific facility to receive real-time availability, pricing, and location information.
